MSA Safety is a global, industry-leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of safety solutions that protect people and infrastructures, to ensure workers get home safely. Following their acquisition Latchways, a fall protection system manufacturer, MSA required a brand positioning programme to establish its credentials in the UK and extend its fall protection message across Europe.

Solution

Clear implemented a comprehensive PR and event programme.

On-site press days allowed journalists and the local MP, Claire Perry, to experience quality fall protection solutions in action which generated positive press coverage across local, regional business and national publications.

Clear secured ongoing thought leadership editorial that promoted innovative developments in safety, provided advice on forthcoming legislation and generally educated organisations as to how to safeguard their workforces.

Having exceeded initial targets in the UK, Clear extended the PR programme across five key European regions. A thought leadership approach to content and PR again proved highly successful.

Following the results from this work, MSA has extended Clear's involvement across Europe for all of MSA’s industrial product sectors, including fire, oil and gas, head protection and fall protection.
