Leading creative agency, Clear B2B, has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Brand Initiative’ category in this year’s international B2B Marketing Awards for its work with Södra Wood UK Ltd.
With over 52,000 members, Södra is the largest forest-owner association in Sweden and an international forest industry group. Following its acquisition of UK-based Crown Timber in 2015, Clear was appointed to deliver a brand initiative programme with the aim of positioning Södra’s UK business (Södra Wood UK Ltd).
The strategy was underpinned with a thought leadership approach that sought to educate the industry on the wide-ranging benefits of timber construction. A multi-channel communications programme was launched with an event at the Swedish Ambassador’s London residence and a trip for UK press to Södra’s Swedish operation.
The ongoing programme comprises PR, social media, advertising and the development of customer tools and resources and a brand-new UK website – all with the aim of demonstrating Sodra’s commitment to the UK market and ability to deliver a long-term, sustainable timber supply.
