Chris' primary role is the planning, scheduling and implementation of multi-channel activity programmes. With experience in both marketing and public relations disciplines, he is ideally suited to oversee the delivery of fully integrated campaigns, making sure they satisfy the wider marketing and business objectives.
With a naturally questioning nature, Chris ensures all decisions and outputs fit within his clients’ wider business needs and complement the overall communications plan.
Chris is one of Clear’s automotive experts and, before joining the company in 2010, he spent four years working in a specialist motoring PR agency. His all round experience has been boosted by three years’ working client side for leading automotive publishers, Haynes Publishing, responsible for all PR and marketing of their book division.
Cars are more than just part of Chris’s job, they are a major part of his life. As something of a petrolhead he competes regularly in classic trials around the UK in a 1950s Cannon trials car, which he recently rebuilt with his own hands.
He is a keen sportsman, with a golfing interest that borders on an obsession. If he’s not on the golf course he might well be playing cricket, squash or football - when not suffering from numerous injuries. He also likes to watch professionals showing how it should be done and can often be found at The Rec watching Bath Rugby or at the Emirates cheering on Arsenal.
